15 Days Kenya and Tanzania Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi

Arrive in Nairobi, where you’re met and transferred to your city hotel, Eka Hotel on bed & breakfast basis.

Day 2: Nairobi - Masai Mara

After breakfast depart for Masai Mara, one of East Africa’s most famous reserves, The Mara consists of undulating hills and great rolling grasslands that sustain some of the most varied wildlife in Africa, if not the world. Arrive in time for lunch at the Mara Sopa Lodge. Afternoon game viewing, where lion, elephant, cheetah, giraffe, buffalo, wildebeest, gazelle and other plains game abound, not forgetting the hundreds of species of birds. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 2: Masai Mara

Full day dedicated to game spotting in this sprawling reserve. You can watch a lion, cheetah or leopard hunting or feasting on its kill. Option of a hot-air balloon ride that starts at 06.00 am and ends with a Champagne breakfast on the plains. What an exhilarating experience! All meals and overnight at the Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 3: Masai Mara -Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru. Arrive for lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge. After lunch game drive around the Lake. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru - Amboseli

After breakfast, drive to Amboseli. Lunch in Nairobi. Game drive enroute. Dinner and overnight at Ol Tukai Lodge.

Day 5 : Amboseli

Full day is spent game tracking in this magnificent park, right on the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest in Africa. Early morning there’s a chance of spotting its snows. All meals and overnight at your lodge. Game here includes Cape buffalo, hippo, gazelle, hartebeest, zebra, wildebeest, lion, cheetah, herds of elephant and plenty of other plains game. All meals and overnight at Ol Tukai Lodge.

Day 6: Amboseli - Ngorongoro

After breakfast, drive to Namanga Border- exchange vehicles and proceed to Ngorongoro. Arrive for dinner and overnight at Eileen's Trees Inn.

Day 8: Ngorongoro - Serengeti

Early morning Visit the crater with picnic lunches. After lunch drive to Serengeti. Arrive for dinner and overnight at Mbalageti Lodge.

Day 9: Serengeti

The whole day is dedicated to game spotting in this park. All meals and overnight at Mbalageti Lodge.

Day 10 : Serengeti - Lake Manyara

After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara. Arrive for lunch at Kirumumu Lodge. Afternoon game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight at Kirurumu Lodge.

Day 11: Lake Manyara - Arusha

After breakfast, Game drive until lunch time. After lunch drive to Arusha. Arrive for Dinner and overnight at Kibo Palace Hotel.

Day 12: Arusha-Marangu – Taveta - Taita Hills -Mombasa

Breakfast and drive to Marangu at the foot of Kilimanjaro. Visit waterfalls and local villages’ after which proceed to Taveta Border. Exchange vehicles and proceed to Taita Hills. Arrive for lunch at Taita Hills Sarova Salt Lick. Afternoon out game drive. Dinner and overnight at Taita Hills Salt Lick.

Day 13: Taita Hills - Mombasa

Early morning game drive to observe animals as they head to the water holes and the swamps to quench their thirst. It’s also the time when the big cats are on the hunt. After which drive to Mombasai. Lunch at Mombasa Town. After lunch transfered to Mombasa Serena Beach Hotel on half board basis.

Day 14: Mombasa

Relax at the hotel and enjoy hotel facilities.

Day 15: Mombasa - Nairobi

Depending on your departure flight you will be transferred to the Mombasa airport
